Real Art Works
Real Art Works
The Southern Education and Library Board’s Real Art Works project was first launched in May 2006. Using money from the Dissemination of Innovation and Good practice fund original works of art were purchased and placed in Primary Schools for five and six week periods.
Now in its second year the project continues to provide children with the opportunity to experience at first hand original art works, allowing them to appreciate their true concepts of size, vibrancy and colour.
The art works have become the launching pad for new and innovative concepts of learning as children and teachers respond intuitively and creatively to what they see.
We hope you enjoy the collection of work from this years project. Our thanks to all the schools who took the time to assemble and share their pupils work for us to enjoy.
