Esther Brimage graduated from Bath College with a First Class Honours Degree in Illustration and subsequently completed a Fellowship in Printmaking. She has exhibited widely within the UK and Ireland in solo and group shows and her work is held in many private, corporate collections and government agencies worldwide.

Her aim in her work is to portray a pictorial world of simplicity and mystery, existing outside of time and eluding fashion. Its' essence is expressed through a feminine presence, silent and distant, desired and inaccessible, revealed through a series of poetic portraits, each one a contemporary Eve waiting for her story to be told.
